Don is a broad generalist with 35 years of progressive experience in Telecommunications, Electronics Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Defence, and Aerospace industries. He has worked in Marketing, Business Development, Sales and Sales Management positions with several multi-national corporations, including Hewlett-Packard and General Electric. In addition, he worked for several years as a self-employed business/marketing consultant. Don currently works as an Executive Leadership Coach and Business Advisor. His focus is how individuals and organizations elicit work-class performance and results through specific behaviour change, and individual and organizational execution. In his work, he considers the business as a whole, with initial focus on how the business entities reflect the opportunities in the markets addressed by the company. He pays particular attention to the executive and mid-level management teams, and how they exhibit self-leadership and leadership in the company, moving to how the company is based on best practices, how it has designed it business model and strategy, and how its culture reflects the best of its human assets through the day-to-day work of managers. He looks for the best of what is, where the company is most alive, effective and successful while seeking ways to enhance vision, energy and action. He thrives on pursuing the leading edge – new insights, directions, trends, the development of our global society and the development of new ideas.
